I enjoy reading series such as the ones that Author Steph Nuss writes.  The Love in the City series can each be read as standalones.  I do recommend reading each in order because you can easily get hooked onto them.  You  still get to see the main characters from the previous books since they are a close knit circle of friends/family.  

In this novel, we do get to know Bayler and Fletcher a bit more.  The two are very similar when it comes to their dedication to their volunteer work.  They are also alike when it comes to dating.  Bayler and Fletcher can attract anyone,  but won't be serious or even spend another evening with anyone.  When these two see one another again, they really haven't forgotten about one another. 

There definitely isn't a lack of hot moments between these two.  They also seem to be breaking some of those dating rules of being serious about someone.  Thing is though, with that tight knit group of friends/family they are a part of, they don't have a clue of what is going on between Bayler and Fletcher.   It's all secret, fun and very sneaky!
You kinda get a hint of what and who the next couple for the future novel could be.  There is also some news at the very end that could be considered a cliffhanger?   Now Steph needs to hurry with the next novel!

Dangerous TemptationsDangerous Temptations by Brooke Cumberland

Thank you Brooke for taking a chance in writing Dangerous Temptations. Some are opposed to reading about cheating. After reading it, I did not see the characters as awful people. Just like in a lot of situations, there are several sides to the story and see why and how they feel the way they do.

Mac is such a great character who went through so much in her past and now trying to better herself. She did not get to experience a normal childhood or get a lot of things easily in life. Mac never really had serious relationships, so there was so much she was unsure about or what she should want. Alex grew up privileged, being told how to carry himself, groomed to how his future is supposed to turn out. Alex is very domineering and very determined, but also had the best intentions throughout the story.

With a lot of Brooke's stories, there is no lack of the hotness factor, and it was muy caliente! I always look forward to the releases of her novels and this was another one that was difficult to put down. Great job Brooke!

This is such a wonderful conclusion to this series!  Note that this is one of those series that you do have to read in order.  Blake and Jennifer are a bit opposite of one another, yet their attraction for one another is so strong.  So many obstacles try to come in the way of Blake and Jennifer.  No matter what happens, Blake has stuck by Jennifer and Jennifer stood by Blake.  If Nelle were to make another story about them, you won't see me complain!
